RedBone Outdoors is dedicated to bringing the best knowledge, techniques and opinions for having fun in the outdoors. RedBone Outdoors was founded by Michael S. Wilson (aka RedBone or Bone to his friends).
RedBone had the opportunity to earn a football scholarship to Furman University. Redbone received his nickname from a teammate the first week at Furman. The teammate said Michael ran like a redbone hound.
Growing up in South Carolina, RedBone was either on the court or field with a ball OR in the woods or water with a gun or rod. This site will discuss and explore techniques for the latest in hunting and fishing. We also will weave some healthy discussion of football, especially, where this great sport intersects with hunting and fishing.
