RedBone Outdoors is a dedicated to bringing the best knowledge, techniques and opinions for having fun in the outdoors. RedBone Outdoors was founded by Michael S. Wilson (aka RedBone or Bone to his friends).
Growing up in South Carolina, Bone was either on the court or field with a ball or in the woods or water with a gun or rod. That describes many people across this great nation. Hank Williams, Jr., even wrote a song about us called “A Country Boy Can Survive.”
Bone went to Furman University on a football scholarship. One of his teammates, in the first few days of August camp his freshman yea,r said he “ran like a redbone hound.” As often is the case, the nickname stuck, and Bone has been called RedBone by his teammates and closest friends ever since. With his lifetime spent following college athletics and hunting/fishing, Bone has encountered some true SME’s (subject matter experts) in their field resulting in the creation; of this site to bringing some of this knowledge to those immense knowledge to its viewers. You will enjoy interviews with SME’s along with opinions from RedBone himself and his closest. Our Opinions are opinions but the techniques are solid. Our This is a company is founded on faith, excellence, and patriotism (with a healthy dose of laughter). The brand, will represent as well.
